The power and conviction of Juanita Bynum paired with the sincere melodic interpretations of Jonathan Butler are the finishing strokes on a heavenly musical canvass painted by Dr. Henry Panion, III with The Alabama Symphony Orchestra and Choir.

The Brand began in Birmingham, Alabama on June 6, 2003, at the Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center on the campus of The University of Alabama Birmingham.  The inaugural event featured Dorinda Clark Cole, Byron Cage and the music of Tramaine Hawkins with The Alabama Symphony Orchestra.  The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, Dr. Lawrence Pijeaux, Chairman and Vicki Mack Lataillade, CEO of Gospo Centric Records sponsored the event.

CD/DVD Series

Gospel Goes Classical, the debut release of the series featured Juanita Bynum and Jonathan Butler with The Alabama Symphony Orchestra. The landmark project has sold over 500,000 units and garnered over 25 million views on YouTube.

Gospel Goes Classical South Africa “Live” 2016 featured Donnie McClurkin, Ntokozo Mbambo, Mahalia Buchanan and Joe Mettle with The Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra generated over four million views on YouTube in four weeks.
