The US gospel legend and 3 time Grammy award winner recently headlined the amazing Gospel Goes Classic live DVD recording in Johannesburg, South Africa. Performing hits like Holy, Great is Your Mercy and the South African hit ‘ Akhekho Ofana no Jesu’

He was joined with other artists Joe Mettle, Ntokozo Mbambo, Mahalia Buchanan, Tshwane Gospel Choir, and JMP Orchestra.

Statement from the organisers : “This was the third time that Gospel Goes Classical took place. However, it is the first time that it was recorded live on the African continent. The first two shows were hosted successfully at Rhema in 2014 and Carnival City in 2015, respectively. These were not live recordings but just live concerts. Artistes such as Jonathan Butler, Benjamin Dube, First Lady, Rebecca Malope, and Sfiso Ncwane featured in those two episodes.”
